The Royal Irish Fusiliers

In March 1937, The Royal Irish Fusiliers was notified that it was to be reconstituted as a regiment to include two regular Battalions designated respectively as the 1st and 2n Battalion The Royal Irish Fusiliers (Princess Victoria’s). The two Battalions were officially reconstituted on 14 April 1937. The Depot moved from Omagh, Northern Ireland to Bordon, England.

The Regiment was presented with new Colours on 1 November 1937.
