REMEMBER UNTOLD IN YOUR WILL
When you leave UNTOLD a gift in your Will, you help ensure that we can continue to tell our
stories and preserve our heritage.
If you would like to leave the Museums a gift in your Will, there are two main options. Firstly, you can bequest a set amount to the charity, and secondly you can bequest a percentage of the remainder of your estate. We strongly recommend that you speak to a solicitor to ensure that you wishes will be carried out as you intend. As a charity we cannot give legal advice, therefore the following wording is just a suggestion:
‘‘I give the sum of [……..] pounds (£) free of Inheritance Tax to UNTOLD: The Museum (Charity
Number to be confirmed), 28 Bedford Street, Belfast, BT2 7FE, absolutely for its general
purposes and the receipt of the Honorary Treasurer or the proper officer for the time being of
UNTOLD: The Museum shall be a complete discharge to my executors.’’
If you would like to explore a legacy for a specific charitable purpose, for example the
furtherance of education, we would be delighted to talk this through with you.
